Is anybody else having problems with the reference image library? I'm getting no joy at all.

It isn't loading for you?
or you can't find anything you like?

It doesn't do anything no matter what I put in the search box - just says 'Not Found" with some letters and numbers.

It also says - Apache/2.2.3/CentOS/[email protected]

The search function just worked for me when I tried it.

Thanks Colin. I'll have to ask my other half if he's at fault as he uses the computer more than me.

Sorry to hear of this Margaret - we're not aware of any problems at the moment - it might depend on when you used it! If the tech staff were working at the time, then who knows?
Were you searching in a specific category? .... that's usually better than a general search of the whole Library.
Search also depends on the keywords entered by the image owner when uploading and some are not good! Search doesn't like 3 letter words or 'common' words, like 'the'!

Also, if you tell me what you're looking for I might be able to help!:)

Margaret, I have also had this problem.. I did a recent search on the word rose, and the reply was that nothing matched it. That can't be true! So I ended up clicking through the necessary folders.

Hi Sandy, I used single words like elephant, geese and flowers and got the same response for all of them.
Can you tell me what are the "necessary folders"?
Thanks in advance.

Maureen, I'll try Sandy's method first if it's simple enough, otherwise I'll ask you, thanks.

Margaret, if you go to this page, it's the Animals category (http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/showgallery.php?cat=16), scroll down and you'll see sub-categories of Elephants, Geese, etc.
Then go back to the main General Reference page ((under 'My Photos', 'My Favourites', top left, you'll see the route for your categories - Home> General Reference Photos> then Animals or whichever category you're in) and go to the category for Flowers.
Click on that and you'll see many sub-categories of different types of flowers.
e.g choose 'Roses' then search for a colour and it should show images for that, say 'yellow roses', or 'pink' etc.
I'm one of the Librarians in the RIL, so I'll help where I can ......... and the categories and subs are what Sandy calls 'Folders'!:)
