I got bit by the watercolor bug recently after finding a Dong Kingman book at an estate sale. Problem is, I don't have any watercolor paints and I'm not about to go out and set myself up with a whole new medium. However, I have gobs of acrylic and I just bought a test set of opens. They dilute beautifully, plus they can sit on my palette for a bit without drying. Thinned to washes, they dry as quickly as any acrylic wash. I'm pretty psyched about this.
It's been a long time since I've posted but I just wanted to share! Happy painting!
