It's been a long time since my last painting, so I was feeling pretty rusty. Hopefully you like my little folk style farm landscape. I used a lot of color as usual, just trying to keep it fun. The car is a 1936 Ford Cabriolet. Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate it!

I do like your folk style very much. Clean colours, simple rhythms and engaging subjects. You have a great and appealing approach.

I love folk art too. It is always full of humour and tiny extras to discover. This is a delightful work. Keep them coming.

Thanks Chammi, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things here. It had been quite a while since my last painting.

Very nicely done. Especially like the raccoon in the tree. Very whimsical approach which I find appealing. You haven't lost your touch.

Crikey! Glad I read Howard's post first - I thought it was a cat hiding! (But we're not used to raccoons in the UK:lol:)

Love this gentle, very rhythmic, very serene pastoral work. You must, please, make and share more of them!

Howard does have a sharp eye, I didn't notice the raccoon until after reading some and his post. Love this painting and that is one beauty of a blue car. Folk art never looked better.
