View Full Version : Not to mix or place (which) white next to colors?

I remember reading an article a long time ago about a particular 'white' paint. They said something like, 'be careful not to mix or place this particular white next to a particular color, because it will start flaking or something'.

Does anyone know what this is about?

Thanks in advance,
Alex.

Hi, Alex!

The white many people claim to suffer from this problem with Zinc White (PW 4).

Regardless of information accuracy, it's important to note that this applies only to oil paint and the fat over lean rule. In acrylics, paint don't take years to dry to the touch (unless it's something very thick), so you can paint with it as much as you wish. :)
