Acrylic on canvas, 40"x60" .
Having fun with big canvases and glazing.

Well, I have no idea what the title means but I don't care - the painting is beautifully conceived and executed - must be very impressive full scale!

Thanks Maureen - re. the title, I often title paintings titles loosely based on the name of the model I'm working with (in this case Anita), and then sometimes crossed with other things I'm thinking about...in this case one of the big motivators was some work I've been reading about in physics and philosophy. I might change the title to Anita of Bayes though (I'm fascinated by Bayesian theories of perception)...

Hi Chris: I am reminded of Picabia in this.
But you go beyond with your fabulous color and complexity. Each figure is rendered beautifully.
Enjoyed. Derek

Really lovely dreamlike quality about this. It almost looks as if it has been painted on silk.

Great composition and interesting layers. This painting would engage me for a long time as I noticed more and more. I can already see aspects of anatomy in many different layers that I would try to trace out and make sense of. Great work.

Hey, thanks all! FWIW, it got the stamp of approval from Anita (the model) today....
Derek - thanks - Picabia work in the late 20's is really fascinating (the ones with all the overlayed figures and faces...)
