The Incredibility of Thomas - after Michelangelo Merici da Caravaggio - Oil on canvas - approximately 30x24. I did as best I could but the closer I looked to his original the more detail I saw in the skin and everywhere. Gave it my best shot. Comments and critiques welcome.

I wasn't even familiar with this painting. Nice job!

I stumbled across his name researching Michelangelo and a few others and when I saw his work I immediately connected to it. If you can sit through a 3 1/2 hour movie, there's one of his life in Italian with English subtitles - I highly recommend it "Caravaggio". It really depicts his life, not just his art.

Caravaggio himself (and his colorful life), I was familiar with. This painting however, seems to have alluded me. Thanks for the movie recommendation by the way, it sounds interesting.

Sorry guys - correct name of Carravaggio's original painting "The Incredulity of Thomas" (the state of being unwilling or unable to believe something)
