Good morning all! Its 4.30 in the AM here. I had 3 hours sleep last night...but I had a long afternoon nap yesterday, which explains that.:cat:

I hope you are all eager for a good month of art related activity?

I've posted a new project on creating a fabulous beast.

Perhaps a photo paintalong will be posted later?

Looking forward to all the new art work!! Post WIPs and finished works that don't fit in with the projects in this thread to let us see what you are doing.

See you soon...

A recent sketch:

I am exploring drawing again for a bit, because every time I try to paint, I run into the same issue: I can't draw properly. And you cannot paint any better than you can draw!

Love the drawings, Brian. Nice light and dark effects in both.

Its good to go back and practice drawing skills every so often.

Nice watercolor sketches. Speaking of which, time for me to brag with the work of my grade 6 students again... ;-)

Excellent watercolours of house in landscape by your artist students! What age is grade 6?

Grade 6 would correspond to about 12 years old. They did quite well, I think, considering none of them is particularly talented or into art.
