Man, I LOVE the old Art-Deco car parts! This one is a bit outside my usual box, and is likely to be quite the challenge...
14X11, just really getting going on it. Wish me luck!

Ooh goodie... LOTS of luck. You'll do this well.
Not huge progress on a very tightly-packed Monday morning, but progress nonetheless...

Looking good so far, this is going to be another nice one!

Thank you, Ann and Harry. I haven't really gotten to the hard part yet, but the morning is young...
Taking shape, though. I actually figure the base to be the most difficult part, which is why I've been putting off attacking it. Time to jump in tho...:crossfingers:
WARNING!! UGLY STAGE!
Yeah....it'll pretty up as I approach the finish line. I hope.
Still, the base is shaping up, and I've had to modify a couple of tools to get something like the effect I wanted (imperfect, but better). So, I've learned from it at the least!

I appreciate that, Rod, especially at that stage. Now, though, I'm calling it done unless and until I find something else on it to pick at. Which certainly isn't unlikely.
Some pieces just never seem finished, and this is one I could fart around with forever and never really finish. So, I'm walking away for now. Call it done-ish.

Exotic, Matthew , in the sense this is a strikingly different subject but with the same technical excellence .
