Think I'm finally getting the hang of Blender after a couple of months, but still so much more to learn. This involved using many techniques including ocean, cloth and wind modifiers. Comments welcome.

Yeah, this is a good one. The composition and light are spot on; I actually thought it was a painting at first. Keep at it!

The sky and boat I really like.:) The water bothers me as I love making water and waves. It should have some waves and some white caps to make it more impressive. The smooth water looks like it was on some material.

Thanks all. The problem is that Blender was not intended for painterly effects, but rather photo realism to mimic movie making and photographs. I am ignoring the pressure to comply and will keep at it. Your replies help. Thanks again.

Excellent results! I have downloaded blender but that is as far as I have gotten So I am duly impressed!
I like the style and overall composition.
