View Full Version : Come Back - FINISHED

Not sure if I want Come Back to be the final title or not. This is Patches, my Dad's springer spaniel. Patches has been in doggie heaven for a few years now, but I snapped this pic of him a several years ago. When he was out on the porch with Dad, if Dad stepped out into the yard, Patches would shove his nose in between the porch railings and whine like a puppy until his Daddy came back onto the porch. This image was so sad yet adorable with only one eye showing and him whining up a storm and the colors were great with all the contrasts that I thought this would make a great scratchboard.

This will be a great tribute to what sounds like a wonderful dog. I'll be watching for updates.

You have a solid start on it. Working on it will be a wonderful way to spend time remembering him.

Sorry there aren't more WIPs, but I couldn't sleep last night. Basically calling this one done. Might clean up a few tiny spots on it here and there...amazing what the computer reveals that the naked eye does not.

Can someone change this to finished, pretty please? I sent Patrick a pm a few days ago....

This is really cute, Netta!

Patrick and Cathy are the only ones who can mark a thread finished, and both are really busy right now, so it may be a while. . .

Sorry, finally edited the title. As Ann says, very busy.

What a cool piece. I like the concept of peering through the railings.
