Wow did you understand anything of this title??

I'll resume.
In january this year I gave lessons to four highschool art teachers and it was a lot of fun.

All of them enjoyed the technique and have sold some other panels on the same day.

Then one of those teachers asked me some 8x10 she would cut in four for her students.

This week she sent me some shot of this project.
These are made by 3rd grade highschool students (14-15 years old).

This same teacher already want more panels for next year.

All of this is so rewarding. Scratchart start to be known around.

Lol . I was intrigued by the title. That is great and they have done so well, they are some very lucky students to get a chance to try scratch board at a young age.

Great work Maxime! I bet those teachers really enjoyed what you taught them.

A number of years ago I got flown out to Tennessee to teach scratchboard to a school district's art teachers... Something like 60 of them! Rodman came down from Indiana and helped me out. We had a great time and I occasionally get messages on Facebook or emails still from students saying "you taught my teacher and this is what I created"... Since I got my introduction to scratchboard was in school it kind of felt like coming full circles :)

The most interesting part was because it was such a big group and fairly short time period they all worked from the same reference photo, but no two works were quite the same.

This is a wonderful way to spread the word. Food for thought for the UK once Ampersand arrives here come August, according to Ampersand.
