Nice macro crop Ramya - but I think I'd like to see greater tone variation to create more depth.
Yellow is a difficult colour to work with!:)

I like the modelling you have done so far but agree with Maureen that a bit more variation in the values would give it more life.

Great close-up crop. Yellow IS a difficult color to work with - and I know as I always seem to go for yellow flowers....some of them have turned out ok but some haven't!
I like the pink in the yellow of your rose, but as it's an oil you could work on this some more. It needs some darker tonal values to give the petals more definition. You have already got some darker areas where the petals meet the bottom of the inner bud, but you could go much deeper still, wherever you have laid in some darker values.

Along with the deeper darks, you might want to try some lighter highlights...

I have found that using permanent mauve for shadows works well for both yellows and pinks...and yellows manage to stay quite warm and bright, even when mixed with quite a bit of white...

Thanks for all your suggestions,will do the next one better than this,finding it hard to get shades in yellow
