Below is my master copy of Caravaggio's "The Incredulity of Saint Thomas." 11" x 14" oil on hardboard. I used a limited palette for this painting - Ivory Black, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre, Venetian Red, Titanium White.

Very well done! Copying the Masters is the best practice there is.

Nice painting, the whole idea of this painting is that Saint Thomas, the incredulous, is putting his finger in Jesus wound. The hands here seem to be traced not genuinely drawn. :)

I had been having problems painting hands so I copied Carravassio's St Thomas concentrating on the hands. Your work is excellent.
