It has been a long time since I have used TwistedBrush so I thought I would try it out again. I experimented with a more painterly style. And I only used 3 layers, one for the background, one for shadows, and one for everything else. And I didn't trace or use a grid, I just went at it with outlining free hand which is scary for me, lol.

This was mostly done with the Pro Oil Paints brush, a little Med. Airbrush, Smudge (which I didn't care for), Coarse Pastel Blender, and the Cover brush for a few final details.

This is lovely Michelle, the only thing I would say you could add just to make it a little more interesting is a little more dramatic shadows and maybe some highlights. Perhaps a little sparkly highlight on the perfume bottle or on the lavender box?

You've certainly reproduced the solidity of the objects. Nice composition. I find the red tones in the background brown a bit strong, perhaps needs to be more neutral...?

Thank you Harry. Maybe I'll fiddle with that.

Better or worse?

Michelle,
I like it better. It tones down the Red in the wood and doesn't compete for attention. Does that make sense??
