Hi Edith - I started a reply and clicked the wrong thing and think I lost it. I wanted to say that I did enjoy your flowers, they are beautiful.
As a matter of interest, what was the size of the original painting?

Edith, your work with floral subjects is both delicate and detailed. I have greatly enjoyed viewing both 'Meadow Flowers' and 'Field Flowers'.
Thanks, The Best, and Keep Posting,

Lovely!! Very delicate...
What a soft touch...the flowers and butterfly are lovely :)
A nice delicate touch Edith, lovely flowers.
With your butterfly a dark body would add contrast against the wings,

Thanks for your comments rod, nice to hear from you. i hear what you are saying about the butterfly but in reality it is a Brimstone and that is the colour of the body so best not change it as i cannot improve on nature. i try to get the flowers and any butterflies, or whatever, as near to life as i can so i cannot change the body colour. thanks again for all the comments they are appreciated.

Your flowers are lovely :)
They remind me of a book my Mom gave me called 'Wild Flowers of America'. It has 400 full colour paintings in it.
Yours would fit in quite nicely.
