Hello gang,

thought some of you might find the answers to some FAQ's about pastel painting helpful, and found this site:

http://www.marielydiejoffre.com/english/resource/faq_pastel.html

There are also some useful "tips and hints" on my website, and also do feel free to send me pm's if you have a particular question that you are a bit shy to post, I am always happy to put on my "teacher's hat" for newbies:

Glad you are always willing to put on that 'teacher's hat' for us! We appreciate it so much.

I'm hoping that everyone will feel free to post any question on this site so that all of us can benefit. You never know who might ask a question that you just haven't thought of yet and could make a major leap in understanding.

Anyway...Jackie, if you happen to get some unusual questions, I hope you can still share those with us on the boards without saying who asked. :)

absolutely, Ilis. The only reason I said what I said, is that often, I read that people "lurk" for ages before plucking up the courage to post. It's those lurking people who never do post, who might find it easier to ask a private question.

If any does respond - and no-one might of course - and the question turns out to be one that could be useful for others to hear about, I will post the bones of the question, and the answers, without revealing the source.

Yes, definitely, I admit that I'm also a kind of people you called 'lurking' this website for 2 years before my first post. I myself also surprised that I subscribed since Sep.2001 and posted my first time in Sep.2003 which is exactly 2 years.

Thanks for your knowledgable website. I am looking at it now.
