I usually work with some kind of stencil and limited color palette but I've been wanting to move my art more abstract to really push the emotion. This is the first piece where I broke out of my stencil to start developing my style.

Nice lines abstrart, like the cold flesh. It takes time to feel comfortable without tools we come to lean on for our art. Kudos to you for expanding your possibilities! ...and welcome to WC!

This is scary but extremely well done. She makes me think of a woman that has been mummified in a bog for hundreds of years who has just come back to life!

Beautifully abstracted, kudos for that! But I must agree that your choice of skin tones are rather ghoulish.
