16 x 20 watercolor and ink on arches art board - I had some trouble getting the lines straight with the camera, I was using an 85mm lens, head on, and they still look warped, in person the lines are straight.

first: just accept the fact that for WC it is OK the lines are warbly.
for a gallery or to make prints, I might ask a professional photographer what to do.

and I absolutely love this effect
unusual and striking
so many interpretations go thru my mind with these
all positive

top shelf stuff

Thank you birdhs. I just framed it, and umm, I'm ashamed to say, my camera is right.... my ability to judge lines, not so much. The lines are just like the picture, all messed up. Arg!!!

For me, Christy, this aspect actually adds intrigue....draws me in and demands study, as art should.
I like it this way! Nice piece.

well... at least they'll know it wasn't created on a computer....

and you could create a 'reason' the lines are not perfect
"life is never perfect, so the lines are meant to convey that in the painting" etc....

You added interesting contrast with the gray blocks. Nice!

This is where I like to be...this is the cusp of art and shape, real and abstract, that I like to be at. Pretty cool.

A fascinating piece of artwork. Don't worry about the lines, they're fine - part of the art! Ady

A fascinating piece of artwork. Don't worry too much about the lines, the wavering stops it looking too clinical! Ady
