Hello, I want to share my first digital painting made with Sketchbook pro and tablet. For the background I used my pastel sketch from 2013. Sketch was done with a help of reference photo, but digital part was done from memory; I was curious how will it go. So here it is:

And pastel sketch used for the background:

Very nice work!

You might want to consider grounding him with some shadows under the feet.

thank you all for your advice and comments. I will work on it and post the result.
JThane - it is the only one I used for digital drawing so far. Do you use only sketchbook or other programs too?

Sketchbook pro is my first so far but i really dont see myself going to a different program as yet, fell in love with it at first trial and it fits well with my art style i think.

This looks really good, sure those few things that have already been mention and good to go! I use sketchbook pro as well, such a great program, wish it had just a couple extra tools but oh well, I almost never use them anyhow. (Cage deformation / perspective skew tools)

I especially like the strokes in the fur, seems to give it depth and what a cute dog!

Very effective, and impressive for a digital first! I use SBP on my computer (and love it) , and I'm eager to try it as a digital sketchbook on a tablet.
