Really enjoying working on long and narrow panels....this one is 12X48X2, part of a new series I am developing called "submerged"...I was trying to get some luminous light qualities by adding yellows....I think it created an interesting affect...

Encaustic on Cradled Birch panel

C and C welcomed

this long format works so well with your style of painting, I like the colour graduation

The encaustic process both intrigues me and intimidates me :)

Nice work spotters

Thanks for the comments "really like the darkness on the bottom...nice feeling to it" glad that came through...I planned out the colors, composition etc. in advance....with the intent to create darkness towards the bottom and gradually moving lighter towards the top of the painting.

I am making another panel (the other half of my 24X48 board....so another one will be on the way.....
