Good afternoon everyone! I haven't posted on here in a hot minute! Everyone's work is so outstanding, and inspires me every day when I'm on here! Finally I think I've been quazi-consistent enough in my sketchbook to start a thread... I'm trying to get out of the habit of making excuses for why I've been too busy to do any art, including sketches... I hope I can keep up with it! :crossfingers:

Most of my sketches are of the munch, the hub, and the dog... eventually I'll add some more variety, but for now, they're what I've got.

I'm using a moleskin 5x8.25in sketchbook.

Unfortunately, it's not a great likeness of the hub.. I tried drawing with a sideways picture.... not quite right...

Oh, wow! Your baby sketches are wonderful!!!! And your "model" is absolutely adorable. I love the one of the baby and the dog on all fours staring at each other. :)

Great portraits, all of them! Especially the baby of course, the "Creation of Man" pose is fantastic. I loved that one and the ones where he's curled up in his father's arm. You capture his gestures so well. Interesting that you've got Santa Claus working in your department, guess that's what he does during the summer is moonlight at your job? Magnificent beard, that fellow. Some of those are a bit light and look like they might have been interrupted by people moving, but they're really great too. Lots of character. Very impressive the way you sketch human moving targets.

The little bit probably gives you a lot of "moving target" trouble sometimes. Loved that one where he's facing the dog. Dog portraits are fantastic, dog's very beautiful and very, very patient it looks like.
