Watercolor on paper.
Dimensions: 26 cm * 17 cm (roughly)
Tried getting a smoother transition between the sun and the sky. That did not work out well. Any suggestions?

In all seriousness, your question can best be answered by Vincent Van Gogh.

His 'Starry night' was the inspiration for this one.

Also you might want to check out the Watercolor Forum (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11) for some technique suggestions. Start at the Learning Zone perhaps?

a much funly piece.
careful about learning too much about how to paint 'correctly' >>
sometimes it takes all the fun out of it

Thanks a lot for the suggestions davefriend. Also thanks to birdhs. I agree with your comment. Don't want to learn too much of standard techniques. But at times when I don't know how to get some colors working, might need to check for tips.

I like it......the colors and the feel are definitely Van Gogh, but with your style too...great job!
