This thread is for those who wish to submit reference photos so I can use them in paint alongs. I would like photos of wildlife, still lifes, and Venice street or canal scenes. Also landscapes if they are really good. You would need to grant me and the course attendees the right to derive a painting from your photo which had to be taken by yourself.

Here is a photo I took recently on a trip to Hanmer Springs in the South Island of New Zealand. You are welcome to use it as you like.

These were pictures I took in my back yard of my previous home in the Black Hills, Spearfish, South Dakota. Before I had a really good camera. These are White Tail deer. You have my permission to use pictures for paint along. Toska Courbron

Johannes,

I am a big fan of your art instruction and am currently signed up in your Paint Along 9 class.

Here are some pics in each category. These are being posted for your use in your Paint Alongs for you and your students to use as reference photos for your paintings. All photos were taken by me. The canal photos were taken in Venice and Murano Italy. The Bighorn Sheep, black bear cub and landscape photo were taken near my home in Radium Hot Springs, BC, Canada.

http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/13-Feb-2014/978726-644.JPG I'm looking forward to the next paint a long. I have been focusing mostly on painting animal portraits and would love to learn how to put them in a landscape. Here are a few of my photos taken at the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park. You have my permission to use them if you like.

These are my photos and I grant Johannes Vloothuis and students in his class the permission to use them for painting. I believe this is an old mill near Mason, Texas (I can get the name). This was in 2012 and the Texas bluebonnets and wildflowers were in bloom. I am uploading several photos from that area that possibly could be used to create a composition. My original photos are larger and higher quality. If this area is of interest, my husband has more (and better photos), with longer views, that he would be willing to provide for us to use.
