I have been away so long from my oil palette things have escaped.
How do I mix a silvery grey/pale blue please?

Silver, by its nature is reflective, so will pick up any colors it reflects. Thus a combination of these colors with a gray/pale blue base color.

I am thinking about Burnt Umber and Zinc-Titanium white as a basic colours with Cobalt blue, Indian Red and Yellow ochre to tweak colors.

Thank you so much for these suggestions. I have tried Paynes Grey and Titanium White and the result is on my thread in Marine Painting "View from Calis Beach".
I now realise it is too white on the canvas so will make attempts at toning it back today.

Took a look at the painting over in the Marine section. Looks great! Thought you were painting something silver like the teacup Gigalot showed. The Paynes Gray and Titanium White together create a nice blue gray.

Thanks AJ, I have added a smidgeon of other colours like the pinks etc in there too.
