MY COMMENTS:
Began as Plein air work but has been reworked in the studio.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I need help pulling this painting together. Seems to me that all my greens are the same and I need more contrast to make the top trees live in the plane they should live in. Don't know what to do next.

I think next, you should go back to the location,I don't know if that is possible for you,but it will be the best/only way to find more greens.you are nearly there!

IMO there should be more light shining true the trees, with a warm color.

Agree. Everything appears cool needs some warmth to balance, imo.

I would work on the two trees - the first one just ends abruptly (the second one has some grass hiding it's base) and the shadows don't seem consistent. I think I would lighten the blue sky near the horizon.
The piece has a nice feel ... keep us updated!
