Pen on drawing paper approx A5 size (7x5"). (Quick pencil drawing first).

Worked directly from the screen - closest I can come to working from life

In total, probably about 1.5hrs.

brillo, my friends a pooterholic, and has recently got himself a split screen , each screen is as big as our kitchen table. It would be fantastic from sketching from, it's on my pie in the sky wish list. At the mo I'd just be happy with me old studio pooter back, but have to wait now till we sell here, then I can have an all singing and dancing one, might even invest in one of the whopping screens, but just one, I'm not as nutty as me mate yet. Lovely sketching

This is lovely pen work Maureen and the pencil drawing stands on its own as well. I too work a lot from the screen Maureen, but also have a program called Irfanview (this can be downloaded for free or a small donation) which I can magnify greatly for minute details (was essentially helpful before my eye op).

Kate - I download to any one of a few programmes I have - all can enlarge readily ...... of course, the original image needs to be good resolution for that

Thanks everyone!

Beautiful drawing, Maureen. It's true working from the screen is more like being outside or working directly - better quality of image and a more intimate feeling of being there. Excellent job. (With a new pc, wouldn't know where to send an image anyway...not hooking up the printer yet and getting used to that flat tap pad instead of the mouse. Had to learn someday...:)
