Thanks for all the lovely images -- I have a few saved to do. This is watercolor 6 X 6 inches (about 2 hours) Ampersand board. I plan on spraying this with varnish so I can frame without a mat and glass. I used the Daniel Smith duochrome paints for the sand, so there's a little gleam in person --doesn't really show here.
And I just remembered I wanted to post the fish drawing, which I did for my daughter's living room..... (18 X 24) -- took me about 4 days to finish.

The fish are super - very complex work!

Beautiful, maybe just maybe when I grow up I can paint like this!! I lean to photo realism and wish I didn't.

Lovely conch shell Bun and the second is a lovely complicated piece - no easy feat with all those fish swimmin' about - nicely captured!

Nice watercolor. I like how vibrant the colors are. Not always easy to do that with watercolor.

Oh Bunny that conch shell is just beautiful, the colours and that iridescent glow are so perfect. I hope Li stops by so she can see what you did with her ref.
Those fish are truly amazing your daughter must love it.

Beautiful shell - the fish are great too - I thought you had the sizes wrong with the images - large small painting and small large painting - lol

I love the fish, the shell is a beauty. love the texture of the sand, I think the combo of the ampersand and the duochrome paint are perfect

I like both. The shell has lovely iridescent colors and good reflections, and the very complex fish painting is just lovely. Your daughter must be thrilled with it.
