This is done in oils, thus the shine as it is still very wet. 8 X 10. Need to do some more to it, but this is about 2 hours worth of work.

He's very smart Mary - lovely luscious brush strikes - yummy!
(I still get excited about oils - love everything about them except the drying time!) :)

Very pretty.... He looks like he is strutting around like all Roosters do!!! They are one of the birds that I'm afraid of!!! They can be mean!! LOL
But I think they are pretty too!!!

Mary, I don't know what more you want to do to this painting as it is very good as it is. I would love to see it when it is dry and there isn't quite as much shine. I really like the feathers!
