You've always done something incredible with them and coming back after a long time, I can see how much you've grown in your rendering. They're incredible. Debby, Robert, and Vivien - thank you. I don't know the count of books filled with these. When I started they were in my regular sketchbook with everything else. Along the way I kept them in their own book. I can think of four books right now but I'm sure there's another several tucked away.

Oh this is spectacular! Love the kitties of course, you turned the front one into a younger kitten with enormous sails for ears - a cute interpretation! Both the boy and girl are great, having so much fun. You got her smile!

It's awesome that you have a whole library of those sketchbooks now. I remember the first time I saw you do one, think you were interspersing them back then. I was so stunned at your page layouts and compositions. You still have that phenomenal knack but years of this have given your renderings accuracy and a pure elegance of style.

Wow! This is one of your best! I love how the images flow into each other, the line of the sheep's back continuing in an adjacent panel, the rooster's eye grabbing attention without much of the rest of him, the layout with its different shapes of frames. This one is very unified and gorgeous, more like a whimsical collage almost! You outdid yourself in the whole. Cherries leading into bubbles! Too cool!

Oooh interesting! Just as striking a layout with the ovals. The laughing man statue is very powerful, the bubbles and the oval panels are effective together, good lights and darks, that same continuous flow between different subjects connects everything. Way cool! Love the expression on the dog with its ear up.
