I was not happy with my contribution titled park. So I painted over it. I've been trying to repost the repaint but for some reason 'insert image' won't let me. Sorry. Maybe when WC fixes the problem, I'll try again.

For some reason, WC would not let me post this earlier today.
This is a paint-over of the painting I posted a couple of days ago.
I felt that the focus in the earlier one was diffuse. This one seems better.
I believe the original photo can be painted in several venues, including
one that would focus just on the arch bridge.

The colors and forms in this version seem more compatible and complementary. I'm glad you posted this, because it is so much better than your first version. Great job and good for you for getting through to post it ;)

I agree, there's enough going on for lots of paintings.
I like the simplified composition of the second version, but the first one is charming as well.

I like the second, more compact and less fussy, version too - but the first also has charm.:)
