View Full Version : wde 6 dec - In the Garden digital

Well I thought I'd have another go at digital, since I never seem to get on with it - I'm afraid this was more of the same - I just find it impossible to get any control and end up with a mess, not the nice loose, painterly effect I was trying for - I guess it takes a fair bit of practice - not sure I have the patience for enough practice to get competent with it. Still in the spirit of the WDE...

This is artrage using mostly oil brushes, about 2.5 hours.

You look like you have pretty well mastered it from where I am sitting. It may not be what you were envisioning but you have captured the scene beautifully.

Your posting some beautiful work, not a mess at all. Has a nice looseness about it

I love this piece :)

Maybe not what you wanted but very nice anyway. Put it away for awhile and then look.

Nice grays with lovely colors and shadows in this charming garden. May not be exactly as you envisioned, but it's still an excellent scene. :)
