Looking after my grandson of 17months, while my daughter moved house. After exploring all over, playing, spending well over an hour drawing (he loves it). He finally had a nap and I got a break!

Sketched with his crayola wax crayons. The left hand work is his, done when he woke up :)

In my S&B gamma sketchbook. It will be nice in the future to look back on the sketch of him and his work together :)

Lovely work, I still have scribbles and primitive art works of my children to look at. I like your sketch of the child, it is very tender.

Thanks :)

Only peaceful for a short time! My grandchildren have scary amounts of energy!

A variation on a recent painting but smaller. This one is a bit bigger than a4 so a3 counting the frame.

It's for my daughter, a memory of a family holiday with 3 generations staying in this farmhouse and another very near.

Watercolour and a bit of mixed media.

Both are very beautiful but I love the drawing of your grandson most.. he looks so peaceful while sleeping at least.. like an angel :D

And the "when you looked like that, you drew like this" sketchbook is a great idea :D

A cartoony portrait for my daughter, husband and her 2 children.

Sweet. Is this a gift for them?

Yes :). I gave it to them on Saturday and they loved it ... phew! Relief. All the other presents went down well too. We had our Christmas get together this weekend. Lovely.

Now I just have to make last adjustments to Noah's Ark for Wednesday.

Great variety in these 3 pieces. It is funny that after all that we all spend on fine supplies, Crayola Crayons still rock! LOL! Lovely mini portrait with them!

One in the S&B Zeta sketchbook that I hadn't been happy with. Added some collage and more ink and cp ( underlying was acrylic paint, my least favourite medium).

Should have worked into the gulley more but didn't want the acrylic to make the pages stick together.

Wow! All of these rock. Your grandson across from his crayon piece is great. That's too cool. Beautiful sleeping portrait. Love that landscape in watercolor and mixed media. Also the cartoon portraits were fantastic - that looks like a perfect book illustration, you just had them fall through into something publishable! Last, you might hate that acrylic and mixed media landscape on the Zeta but I love it exactly as it is. It's powerful and atmospheric.

You leave me in awe sometimes. Love all of these.
