Sorry I didn't post the 2 hour progress image earlier. Since I seem to be completely incapable of doing anything fast and without nit-picking all the way, I'm setting myself a project of doing something fast and loose next week - we'll see how it goes.

And also - no more buildings !

This is acrylics on 14" x 11" canvas
.
At 2 hours:

And the finish - just in time before next week's WDE starts.

Oh my this is wonderful. I like the two hour stage as well, I thought it might be a digital at first as it is so neat and evenly coloured.
I checked put your gallery:thumbsup:

I'm blown away! This is beautiful, Joy! The colors, the buildings, the boats, the reflections - all wonderfully painted to come up with one beautiful painting. Brought back good memories of Cassis and the French Riviera.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it, Joel - I admit I was regretting my choice at one point trying to get all those windows and building edges straight.

Thanks for all the lovely comments, it's very encouraging after I had stopped painting for so long.

And yes I would also love to be there, away from the winter here !
