Bending forevergreen and the dramatic sky bring me the mistral.
I like the orange color in the foregroud which warms up this painting.

The water looks "rester zen" (stay calmly) without agitating against the wind. I really like that. BTW, are you the wind or the water?

Hi Wayne, love the tree,I'm always impressed with your greens.
your sky hole is very convincing.
But in my experience trees bend away from the sea, because of the strong winds.
I think the sky and water could do with a hint of color.
looking to get inside myself and stay there ..
I think you should get out more,LOL,paint from live!
best wishes Rob

I know exactly what you are expressing here and was wondering whether the water should be darker and less blue and the horizon straiter and more defined as it gets (particularly with the Mistral:) )

the tree is not bent in the wind .. that is it's natural shape as it's on an embankment and is losing ground. I added distant rockface, changed the water, added reds and lighter greens.

I like the second version better, adding the reds helped. Looking very Group of Sevenish. Nice work.
