An earlier landscape (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1331618) from the Tetons called for a moose, albeit a small one in scale. So I wanted to paint and draw a few for practice- here is a 9x12 soft pastel on Canson:

They are such spindly, long legged, goofy looking critters when babies....but grow up to be big majestic animals like what you have painted here. Nice piece.

Lovely light! Weird looking creatures aren't they? I've never seen one in the flesh but it looks accurate to me!

Nice job Ken, the antlers are beautiful all by themselves, aren't they? I love their shapes. Beautiful work!

Lovely! I like this one and the newer one equally well, but I don't have the artistic vocabulary to explain why.
