I can't believe I didn't start till after the middle of the month, but here's a start. First sketch of the month, it's for the sketchwall:
9" x 12"
Carb-Othello pastel pencils
Bogus rough recycled brown paper
Photo reference by DAK720 for Oct. 2013 Pastel Spotlight
I guess I've been caught up in writing stuff. Have a pencil sketch that needs watercoloring to be visible, might work on that sometime soon.

Purr thank you! I've been both sleeping a lot and focusing on writing a lot. But I will be doing some new ones pretty soon, small Pan Pastels pieces. Maybe in my nearly-full art journal if I can use the texture right.

Thank you! I just got replacement colored pencils and 18 new Prismacolor colors so I might have some colored pencils sketching soon - or more colored pencils sketching. If I could just manage to be awake! It's so frustrating that I get this tired around this time of year. Weather knocks me over, between short days and changing temperatures it's hard to function.
