GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: rembrandt-my pastel sketch
Year Created: 2003
Medium: Pastel
Surface: Paper
Dimension: 8 x 11
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!

MY COMMENTS:
Spent about 1 hr...not exactly the same feeling as the rembrandt...would do more of these. I used only pastel for a long time but not in a long time. I do love them but for the dust.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
critique and anything?

I can't critique faces but I do like the coloring.

(love chalk pastels...haven't used them in a long time...me too)

I must say...
I LOVE this!

I would only vary the color of
the curve in the chin (on her left side)
another plain of the face
(from her left upper jaw line coming down and around)
intersects it

fantastic!!!

Forgot to mention but guess you can see I did this on red paper.

Wayne, thanks...just let it go on it's own.

Giniaad, :) agree about the jawline.

Pam, pastels are wonderful but so messy to work with. I wish I could do the same with paint.

Dianne, thank you.

Mark, me too.

Flatwoo, glad you like it.
