Oil on canvas. 20x25 cm. I saw a picture in the photo library, but then used my own gravy boat and my mother-in-law's tablecloth.

Galina, this is absolutely beautiful! JUst incredibly realistic...the strawberries look good enough to pluck and eat and the tablecloth is perfection. Kudos to you and a gorgeous painting!

Carol, thank you! You always find inspiring words. Unfortunately, I am not good at the photography and the photographs are often a starting point for me. But I find Photoshop very helpful, when I want change things and see if it works.

Beauty, Galina! Flemish style.. figures! Love it too. It is too bad now just about everybody switched to working a-la-prima and we do not see this beautifully glazed works any more.

jachang, thank you very much for your comment! No, I don't have any training. I am self-taught. I started drawing and painting about six years ago, but discovered oil two years ago and that was a love from the first sight :) I am convinced everyone can paint and draw. All one need is practice :) .
