Hey Jerry - I'm useless when it comes to help but I can appreciate this scene - reminds me of Litchfield and Pauley's Island. Sure would like to be there!

Yes...this was done near Litchfield ...also there are some good scenes like this accross from Brookgreen , on the beach. Watch out for the gators there!! Thanks for the comment.

Caro...appreciate your comments. Thanks

If only I could do watercolor as well as you!!
Your paintings are like the golden drops of sunlight dancing
on the ripples of a wind caressed pond.

Wonderful painting,so light and fresh, but I wonder if some stronger tonal value isn't called for. Alan

Once again Jerry I am enjoying the wonderful softness of your work.
Well done :)

Thanks for the suggestion....some of it may be the scanner but I know that I need to work harder on values too....not bold enough there.

As always I appreciate your remarks and your work.

If you don't mind Reye, one more point,I was looking at your painting, and I realised there is no focal point, nothing to take your eye through the painting, otherwise it's a bright and light breezy style you got there well done alan
