And here's the next phase... Patience is a virtue, just not one I possess much of. However, it is paying off as I force myself to slow down and allow this to unfold. Unless I do my Alice Special and overpaint it to death. Again...

You had me from "low hills with evening shadows" - which look exactly like the view from my parent's back yard, BTW. I'll be watching!!

Lovely one, you are doing well! yes, it requires patience but you have lots of that really....your cactus shows that! I think landscape is difficult for some people because there is so much freedom of choice and room for interpretation....too much thinking sneaks in when we just need to go for it. I am slowly learning this, good luck with your journey.
