This is oil on canvas, 28" square. C and c welcome! Not sure if its done, but if I work on it I plan to maintain the ambiguity of the space, etc

The shapes are well-broken up. The only shape that seems a BIT too dominant to my eye is the oval. I can see where it is broken up, but its so subtle it doesn't register to my eye. I really like the black along the edges. I think the irregular edges add great negative space. The bottom half looks nearly finished to me. Good job!

If the large center oval is intended as the focal point, you have succeeded. I find the lower right quadrant a stand alone work, too.

I like this...the only crit from me would be the central right hand area, which looks a little too dark and a bit blotchy in areas.

Thanks! i think the blotchiness is an effect of the crappy instagram photo- it looks pretty cool in real life, the paint is really thick actually. Way thicker than it looks in the picture. does anyone else get frustrated about the way their work looks in photos? anyway, thanks for the feedback all!

There have been many threads posted on how to take as good a photo you can with the camera available over on the Photography Forum.

The better your phot, the better chance of selling your work, you never when a potential client may be visiting, and this does look like it might be even better IRL.
