OK folks. Would love some C&C! Im thinking there are composition problems? What are this ones strengths and weaknesses?

the background color is a combo of titanium white, a blue, jenkins green. the detail to see the texture, is showing more blue.
its a 12x16 acrylic ~ just made with soft gel and I used alcohol to get it to rub off easily.

it dawns on me that the detail is better than the actual piece. Hmmm.

THANKS in advance!

As I rotated it I found the different directions make if 4 paintings in one.

I prefer it upside down.....

The fragment is showing a completely different background colour. Which is the most accurante? Other than that: The first one shows a painting somewhat out of balance. Now, that can be an intended advantage, but I don't get that impression here. I like the structure and the idea, but I can't say anything about the colour until I know more (re. above). :) Very interesting, though.

The actual color is more of a turquoise green than blue, and the red tones in there are mostly from Quinac. gold.

Im liking how 'old' it looks, like a building being torn down ~ but there is definitely something off balance. Im not sure if just turning it upside down fixes it...but I could do that.

It looks like I'll be sitting with this one for a bit until the solution comes!
