A recent reworking of a less than successful painting.
14" x11", oil on canvas.
Pookie was my favorite puppet character from the Soupy Sales Show.

I like the title.
I am not finding the upper half correlating in any way to the lower half, but that may be me or the intent of the work. You have a very recognizable style and I always enjoy seeing your posts.

I think it's very interesting and rather beautiful. Reminds me of Boccioni and other Italian futurists.

Thanks Jon. The top area started as a hat but ended up just being part of the painting.
Thanks raeburn. I always liked the furturist paintings (but not their politics). I aim to balance oddity with beauty.

I fondly remember the Soupy Sales. I loved doing the Soupy Shuffle back then.

I am not sure I am getting enough to make a connection to the title and the painting but I always love your style and color choices. To me the canvas seems unfinished but done enough to keep me looking for what it's all about. Love your work bschart

Thanks Dave.
The title was to entertain me and intrigue and confuse the viewer. (Still, Pookie is there and is telling that good one).

The painting started out this way> Then went through many changes.
