I found this to be tough. Harlamoff

Throughly enjoyed it though! And, yes, I believe in true fashion I dropped her nose down - sigh. Oil on MDF panel 8x10
Cheers all! Karen

I love Harlamoff! I've also done a study of one of his paintings. This is very well done...the skin tones are beautiful.

Very nice likeness. You have captured her look and the mood well. I think your skin is cool compared to the warmer original. I am looking at this artists works and am confused as to how he made soft versus rough passages. It is like splotches of smooth, foggy, soft OVER dry, rough areas? Maybe the way the photos are taken? I am not sure is possible or how he did this - seems very unconventional compared to how other artists make rough versus soft passages. Interesting.

The face is delicately captured. but seems background and clothes are rougher.
