Thanks for the great photos Gilllian. I saved several - I really wanted to do a portrait this week but had to try out my new gouche palette and brushes and that beautiful photo seemed to just ask for gouache.
This may be my last weekend for a while :wave: Hopefully our caravan repairs will be complete and we can hit the road again :crossfingers:
Gouache - 16 x 11 cm - about 2 hours
Crits are always appreciated.

Yaay your first past the post and its a beauty, I love those mauve shadows on the buildings against that turquoise sea. Its a definite keeper.
I hope all goes well with your repairs and you can get back to your big around Australia adventure.

A perfect candidate for gouache. Sorry to see you go again, but good luck on your adventures - a trip of a lifetime traveling around such a large country:)

I like that shine on the main dome and the smaller two on the rooftops and howyou kept them the focal attraction...lovely!
