This is a crop and adjustment of an image I created a few years ago. I posted it in the Digital Manipulation subforum under Photography, and a couple of folks there suggested I show it here too.

Awesome, and reminds me of science fiction. The colors are what really captured my attention.

Thank you, Cory (Alan).
Here's the original - not a good composition, and the colors are a bit monochromatic.
I like the depth of field you accomplished in this. It has a bit of the Fantastic Voyage feel to it. Do you know that movie? Scientists are in a submarine, shrunk and injected into the blood stream of a man for some reason- I can no longer recall. :) I guess your piece reminds me of the blood corpuscles.

Yes, I remember the movie: Stephen Boyd, Raquel Welch, Donald Pleasance, and others, if I remember correctly. (As is often the case, many think the book was better.)
Hmmmm... that might be a good idea for a series of paintings/photos/images - capturing the essence of iconic movies.

Cool crop, it has a si-fi attitude about it. Colors are warm but the compositional vibe could be more fluid - space or submerged in a geothermal environment. I think it is the smaller spheres which give rise to the aquatic dimension. Like bubbles. Very nice Dave!

Thanks for looking and commenting, Dave. I like your observation about an aquatic feel. May be worth trying a version in ocean colors.
And you're right that the composition could be better.
