Another study in invisibility. 24x48 mixed media (acrylic and inks) on canvas. Not sure about Flower Child as a title....Petals Dress My Being? or?? Image looks a bit washed out to me..colors are actually quite rich.

This is very special. I immediately was drawn to study it.

But this time I will keep my thoughts silent, so as to not influence others.

I REALLY like this, thanx so much for allow us to 'see' her before she disappears into the background again

Wow, I enjoy this one immensely, Carly. Beautiful and ethereal. The black lines work well too. Bravo.

Now, I know it's too late, but my only crit is the length of this one. I wish it were not so long, but that's nothing major (24x36 perhaps instead of 24x48?). That said, I'd still hang this on my wall. Thanks for sharing :)

I think of Lorenna Mkennet's music when I see this. Beautiful

I think this is beautiful ... my only concern is my eye is drawn to the white line in the middle of her body, my mind auto perceives it as an arm and then tries to make sense of it. You are much more talented than I and perhaps that is indeed your intention. but in my mind it's a distraction...i can't help but look at that white line! ~moe

Gorgeous color! Wonderful painting. It's so interesting how everyone sees something different in it. The only hesitation I have about it at all is her face: the dots seem fairly prominent there - more so that the dots elsewhere in the image - so my brain keeps trying to resolve them into facial features. Silly, probably, but I guess I'd prefer the dots to fade away there more, or for the whole face to be more muted. It's a small thing. Overall it's a marvel!

Attractive piece- amazing size! Although I get that she's in a garden (or by one), I'm not seeing petals & flowers. Not that they're needed in any way- this is beautiful and engaging.
Don't know how you'll like it, Carley, but in my mind "Unseen" seems to fit.

Very cool, I like the feeling of transparency and mark making.
