These are all good, Greg. I had a friend who owned one of these but I do not recall the stripe being in that fashion. I think his was a '71 or '72 model. Back then I preferred the Dodge Charger. I have a relative who owned a beautiful blue one and boy it was fun to ride with him! Good memories, thank you!

Loving the filtered output of the last one.

Jon- I don't recall seeing that stripe before, but the owner swore it was factory original, along with that dead yellow color (he swears Chrysler bought up a case of refrigerator paint-remember Harvest Gold appliances?).

I love going to shows and spending hours swapping lies and faded memories with other folks, they always have good tales to tell.

Dave- the filtered phots were created AFTER all the drawing was done. Sure wish I had thought to do that first, might have made a better drawing!

Spending a rainy afternoon going through all 50 of these CFCAs doing Glowing Edges, Inverts, and B&W of the Inverts. The original idea is beginning to work, I see where many of the drawings were not true to the phot....

This takes a lot of time, but I have an idea for these phots and it is taking a lot of experimenting to get the idea to work, thanx for watching and commenting

greggoAnd each experiment spawns multiple other possibilities! Photoshop doesn't come with a 'this one is best' filter ~ guess you have to do that one yourself

I love what you are doing with this series. Makes me want to do a few too, but wouldn't that be like stealing your idea?

Keep up the good work. These are brilliant.

V-- I got this idea from somewhere else I'm sure... nothing in art is new.
The phots are original to me, I took them, I own them.
But I did not invent Photoshop,
and the line drawings are an old trick for starting paintings
that artists have used, especially the French Art Deco posters for ads in the 20's and 30's, just basic sweeping lines with bold colors.

So go for it!!
If yours work out, then I'll just borrow from you...

Eagerly awaiting to see what your ideas are!
