Fort Lytton hosts the annual re-enactment of History Alive. It is a fascinating and fun exhibition of 2000 years of history.

I went out on Sunday and took the following photos.

Oh and Fort Lytton, itself is a wonderful place to visit. It was the first line of defence for Brisbane during World War II. Later it became a quarantine station.

3. Camp Oven. Evidently, they could feed 200 people a two course meal out of this oven.

Wow JJ, I loved seeing the different period costumes. And the vehicles, motorbikes and other specific things they used back then. Thanks for sharing these pics with us. I love the Dutch outfit that the woman is wearing right down to her wooden shoes. And the pic of the two ladies nattering together. :D
