It has been awhile since I have been able to get something done for WDE. Tell myself each week I am going to do it and download something and just never seem to get to it, so this week I did 2 of the same thing. The first one is done on a page of national geographic paper that was changed. It is done with acrylic ink. I did not have many colors so had to do the best I could with the inks. It is 5 X 7. The 2nd one is done on Yupo paper which I had used water color ink and alcohol.( I had it on facebook a few weeks ago.) Anyway decided to paint on it with the the acrylic ink. Not sure the back ground does much for it, but at least I got back here. It is about 14 X 18. Each one took less than 2 hours to do. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/08-Jun-2013/132729-P2040001_2.jpghttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/08-Jun-2013/132729-P2040012_2.jpg

Mary, they both look beautiful and very tropical and I love them. I was looking for colorful fabric for DR chairs today, wouldn't mind having that top one in fabric : ) Glad you came back.

Mary, both of these are so interesting! the first one with the hints of alligator behind it, that's a perfect integration of the underlying image with your shirmp plant painting and I love it. It's like the alligator's hiding ready to get you! Very cool - beautiful layering there. The second one's gorgeous. Amazing you got that kind of control on Yupo. I have Yupo. I have fought and struggled and strangled things on Yupo with so many problems I kick myself for buying the pad, but you've taken advantage of its best qualities and got an amazing degree of control on it. Love that. Both came out beautiful and so vibrant.
